One more way to ensure guest satisfaction
Today, many hotel guests are evaluating their lodging choices based on a property’s environmentally friendly attributes. Sealy meets this demand with a mattress that is both environmentally responsible and cost-effective.
Two key steps to reducing our environmental footprint
Sealy takes a twofold approach to improving environmental sustainability: Ensure that our current operations, and the operations of our suppliers, are as environmentally friendly as possible. Search for economically feasible ways to improve the sustainability of our products.
Managing our material resources more carefully
Sealy is looking at every area of manufacturing and finding ways to be more environmentally responsible. Here’s what we’re doing with the three main material components of Sealy® sleep systems: Wood Sealy’s lumber resources are certified to the standards of the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) and CSA (Canadian Standard Association). Steel 100% of the steel components in Sealy sleep systems come from recycled steel. Foams Sealy’s foam supplier recycles 100% of its polyurethane scrap for use in the production of other consumer products (i.e., carpet).
